Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve indicating accuracy of arterial thickness for distinguishing normal and abnormal arterial wall. The resulting curve had an area under curve of 0.82, proving that measurement of arterial thickness is highly accurate in distinguishing between normal and abnormal samples. The yellow line in the plot is drawn at a 45° angle tangent to the ROC curve and indicates the probability threshold, which balances the frequency of false negatives and false positives
