It was drawn with letters by a teleprinter using the TOR equipment (a time multiplex protected system) of those days transmitted from Osaka, Japan, to Buenos Aires, in December 1957, when Max Valentinuzzi was a young telecommunications engineer in TRANSRADIO INTERNATIONAL. A punched paper tape drove a synchronized electromechanical sender.
