Using 3-Matic software, 3D renderings from micro-CT scans of vessels before and after PCI were used to determine changes in vessel dimensions post intervention. More specifically, cross-sectional areas were obtained 5 mm into the left main (LM) from the defined border of each coronary ostia of each heart specimen.
