The original signal as well as that the outputs from the different translations are shown in different colours in time traces. Content similarity was computed as the maximal cross-correlation between the translated signals and the original simulated signal. It can be seen that the translations of the 3D cycle GAN models were similar to the simulated signals, whereas the translations from the 2D GAN and the recycle-GAN models were not and came with large amount of noise.
