AHRS data segmentation and analysis. Each trial was segmented into basic tasks (sit-to-stand, walk and turn). For each data segment, mean angular velocity was calculated and assigned a velocity category. Based on the data characteristics, a type of motion was also determined for the data segment. The information on velocity category and type of motion for each specific data segment is then stored into a database for further analysis upon completion of the trials classification process
