In some cases from the first glucose concentration (G (t₁)) both the glucose maximum (G (t) MAX) and the minimum glucose values (G (t) MIN) did not exceed the meaningful excursion (ME = 45 mg/dL) [G (t) MAX - G (t₁) and G (t₁)-G (t) MIN ≤ ME], however, the entire curve contained MEs. On these occasions the program set the new starting point - in this case G (t) MAX. B shows the MAGE curve.
