  1. Autoregulation index (ARI) and the rate of autoregulation (RoR) for the right and left MCAs in the normotensive and hypertensive groups and for the non-stroke and stroke side MCA in the stroke group. RoR – descending slope of the linear portion of the BP and BFV reduction between the baseline and BP minimum. RoR – ascending slope of the linear portion of the BP and BFV increase between BP minimum and maximum during the VM. ARI and RoR were not significantly different between the groups.
