  1. Validation of the aluminum calibration model on intact tibiae. Apparent stiffness was measured with the measurement device and actual bending stiffness was calculated. Comparison between the calculated values in relation to the measured actual bending stiffness obtained from four-point-bending gives the error of measurement. There is a tendency to lower values of bending stiffness if measured with the measurement device.
