Examples of functions of changes in brightness for the row of the image matrix L C . There are shown differences between y C (n) and y T (n) which provide valuable information about local changes in brightness. Depending on the value of these differences, decisions are made about the detection of lanes whose width must fall within the adopted range. Narrower objects are considered as interference and the wider are split into smaller ones.
