The horizontal line of the boxes represented median value, the dashed lines indicate bounding range of RSA accuracy reported in literature (i.e. between 0.05 to 0.5 mm, and between 0.15 to 1.15 deg) (Valstar et al. 2002, Kaptein et al. 2003). Migration is shown in (A) medio-lateral, (C) superior-inferior, and (E) anterior-posterior translation as well as for rotation about the (B) medio-lateral, (D) superior-inferior, and (F) anterior-posterior axes. Significant differences were calculated by two-factor ANOVA (p < 0.05), as well as the effects within a pairwise comparisons of the digitizing resolution in context to the dependent variables (x, y, z, Rx, Ry, Rz) were presented by a bold star on top of a bracket.
